This is the official website for Ann DeWitt, who is a Mom's Choice award winning author.  In addition to a Mom's Choice Award, Ann's first young adult fiction novel titled "Entangled in Freedom" received awards from the Moonbeam Children Awards and the the Son's of Confederate Veteran's Bonnie Blue Society.  Ann likewise received Honorable Mentions from the Indie Book Award,  The New York Book Festival, and England Book Festival.  Her second book in the Reference genre titled "O'Neal, Dunbar, Lincoln, Edwards, DeWitt, Hodge, Bostic Families: In Search of Betsy O'Neal" was recently published in March 2014.

Most of her life, Ann lived in the state of South Carolina, USA. She volunteers by assisting and mentoring aspiring authors in self-publishing their literary works.  Many of these writers have earned awards and recognition in the publishing industry and/or featured in a national television show.   Ann currently lives where metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia USA meets the mountains with her family.
